Resurgence

Resurgence is a meditation on renewal — on how hope returns slowly, steadily, from grounded roots. This panel-shaped glass sculpture is built around an evolving field of green. From a deep, peaceful dark green anchored in a band of grey “earth,” the colour gradually lightens and opens into a more transparent, luminous green. This upward shift suggests growth: the movement from something quiet and contained to something clearer, more expansive, and full of promise. The firm, grey base represents the grounded realities we stand on — history, memory, struggle — while the emerging greens rise from it rather than escape it. Resurgence does not depict a sudden burst, but a patient, organic unfolding: hope taking hold, strengthening, and brightening as it moves toward the light.
